Our turtles are hatched in Kalutara beach

To see the begining with video clips, go to the end of this post.

Now is to rent a car and collect neighbors children.

Picture 1: We are now at Hikkaduwa beach ready to launch them. Seven hours after they come up.

Picture 2 and 3: We have 15 turtles and 15 children. Each child can then launch their turtle.

Picture 4:Can you see the turtle. I know that there is a zoom butten, but everything happened so quickly.

Picture 5: We get a visit from an old big turtle.

Picture 6: Mission completed. Do not think any of these children will eat turtles eggs. Also believe that they can influence the adult.

Picture 7: Before we go home it will be lunch at the Blue Shadow in Hikkaduwa. All the kids are happy.

Picture 8: Kotta leads the singing. The mood is high.

At 03.00 hrs 16/1, they come up. It was 50 days, which they needed for hatching and digging. You see here the first turtle coming up. The first thing I saw was a small paddle that moved. I touched it and realized it was true. An exciting feeling of happiness came over me.

Now take Kotta the first one and place it in the container. I have been studing the web in order to reach their optimum. See the website which I considered authoritative. TURTLE

A littel fellow traying to run away. but we catch her/him. By the way, do you know when and what affect it, if it will bee a boy or girl?

    Thomas
